When we want to refer to different directions, we use prepositions like 'up', 'down', 'in front of', and 'behind'

 «up»، «down»، «in front of» وقتی بخواهیم به جهات مختلف اشاره کنیم، از حرف‌ اضافه‌هایی مانند

We can use these two prepositions to talk about the position of something relative to something else. 'Up' is used when the object is in a higher position whereas, 'down' is used when the object is in a lower position

ما می‌توانیم از این دو حرف اضافه برای صحبت درباره موقعیت چیزی در مقایسه با چیزی دیگر استفاده کنیم

In Front of/Behind When we want to refer to the front or backside of something or someone, we can use these two prepositions. 'In front of' is used to refer to something facing another, and 'behind' is used when something is on the back of another

زمانی که بخواهیم به جلوی چیزی یا پشت چیزی اشاره کنیم، می‌توانیم از این دو حرف اضافه استفاده کنیم

There are some other prepositions that we can use to show direction, such as 'after', 'before', and 'opposite'. 'After' indicates that one object is located further along in a sequence than another object, while 'before' indicates the opposite. 'Opposite' indicates that two objects or places are facing each other

'On', 'at', and 'in' are very common among native speakers. They are simply used to indicate the location of something or someone

بسیار رایج بین نیتیوها هستند. آن‌ها به سادگی برای نشان دادن موقعیت چیزی یاکسی استفاده می‌شوند

'On' is a preposition of both time and place. It is typically used as a preposition of place to refer to a floor in a building, public transport, rivers, lakes, streets, or something physically attached to a surface

یک حرف اضافه مربوط به زمان و مکان است معمولاً به‌عنوان حرف اضافه مکان برای اشاره به طبقه‌ای در یک  ساختمان وسایل حمل‌ونقل عمومی، رودخانه‌ها، دریاچه‌ها خیابان‌ها یا چیزی که به‌صورت فیزیکی به یک سطح متصل است، استفاده می‌شود

'At' is used to indicate specific places and locations such as addresses, events, public places, and some buildings like institutions and organizations

برای اشاره به مکان‌ها و موقعیت‌های خاص مانند آدرس‌ها، رویدادها، مکان‌های عمومی و برخی ساختمان‌ها

When we want to talk about a specific area within a larger space, we use 'in'

زمانی که می‌خواهیم بگوییم که چیزی از یک زمان خاص شروع می‌شود و در زمانی دیگر پایان می‌یابد، می‌توانیم از

استفاده کنیم من از ساعت 9 صبح تا 6 بعد از ظهر در دفتر هستم. این جمله نشان می‌دهد «from...to»

که چیزی از چه زمانی شروع و در چه زمانی پایان می‌یابد
