When we want to make sure that something is true or not, we use tags

A tag question is a short question that is added to the end of a statement to confirm information or to seek agreement or disagreement
سؤال تگ یک سؤال کوتاه است که به انتهای یک جمله اضافه می‌شود تا اطلاعات را تأیید کند یا به دنبال موافقت یا مخالفت بگردد
They are here, aren't they?/
He can drive, can't he?
آن‌ها اینجا هستند، مگر نه؟/او می‌تواند رانندگی کند، اینطور نیست؟
To form a tag question, you can use the following structure:
Statement + Auxiliary + Personal Pronoun + question mark (?)
:برای ساختن یک سؤال تگ، از ساختار زیر استفاده کنید
جمله + فعل کمکی + ضمیر شخصی + علامت سؤال (؟)
When the statement is positive the tag is negative, and when the statement is negative the tag is positive
وقتی جمله مثبت است، تگ منفی است و وقتی جمله منفی است، تگ مثبت است
They will accept, won't they?/
My mother isn't here, is she?
تو یک فنجان چای می‌خواهی، اینطور نیست؟
/او مادرت نیست، مگر نه؟
If there is an auxiliary verb in the statement, you should use it in the tag question too. But if the sentence only contains a main verb, you should use the auxiliary do (did/does) in the tag question
اگر در جمله فعل کمکی وجود داشته باشد، باید همان را در سؤال تگ نیز استفاده کنید اما اگر جمله فقط
استفاده کنید did و در زمان‌های گذشته does , do یک فعل اصلی باشد، باید از فعل کمکی شامل
You want a cup of tea, don't you?/
She isn't your mom, is she?
او می‌خواهد بیاید، اینطور نیست؟
/تو امشب می‌مانی، مگر نه؟
When using negative tags, usually the contracted form is used
.استفاده می‌شود (Contracted Form) هنگام استفاده از تگ‌های منفی، معمولاً از شکل کوتاه‌شده
He wants to come, doesn't he?/You will stay tonight, won't you?
او می‌خواهد بیاید، اینطور نیست؟/تو امشب می‌مانی، مگر نه؟
